BILL SHELVIN

BILL SHELVIN

Strategic Partner/Microgrid & Renewable Energy

Bill Shevlin has decades of executive management experience in renewable energy, roofing and construction industries. Bill has built companies with year-over-year, sustainable double-digit growth and profitability. One of his super powers is developing a finance mechanism out of cost savings measures usually around energy savings and utilizing those savings to perform financed capital upgrades. As part of a U.S. delegation, Bill created a model that allowed Central American municipalities to implement and install energy efficient upgrades and apply those savings as a shared finance cost. In one example a local municipality of 250,000 citizens saved energy costs of over $60,000 per month on street lighting which was an 80 percent reduction in energy consumption. Bill was lead developer on two of the largest rooftop solar distributed energy projects in the US. He has been involved in over 1,000MW of distributed energy resources. He also holds multiple patents for solar and other technologies. Bill is also CEO of Maverick Renewables, specializing in Carbon Neutral & Carbon Negative Microgrids.
